Anne Powers
Licensure and Education:
- NC State BS in Math Education and Statistics, 1990
- UNC-Greensboro, MS, 2001 - Counseling and College Student Development
- National Certified Counselor, 2001 - Present
- Trained Life Coach (pursuing ICF Certification of ACC)
- Additional Training in Career Counseling, Myers Briggs Type Indicator
Special Interests:
- ADHD and Dyslexia
- Parent Coaching
Personal Biography:
I have worked in banking, leadership and career development with college students, started a parent dyslexia support group, and helped facilitate the start of a non-profit volunteer clearing house. My passion is working with people to facilitate the strongest child mental wellness possible. I love working for such a wonderful practice and being part of a team environment.
A resident of Winston-Salem since 1994, I enjoy time with my family and friends, including an awesome husband and two very active children, a boy and a girl. I love my church, NC State, cheering on friends playing high school and college sports, and playing the piano.
