I like working in Pediatrics because I love children. I have been a Pediatric Nurse for over 30 years. I have been blessed with 2 sons and 2 grandsons and have had the opportunity to care for and watch hundreds of others grow up and become parents and then care for their children. I have seen many advances in pediatric medicine and vaccines to protect our children. Parents have shared with me their memories of when they were children (most of them good), when I was their nurse.
I am so grateful that I have been able to work in pediatrics my entire career as a nurse, touching the lives of children in a positive, sensitive, caring comforting way. Children are a precious gift and I am thankful for the role I play in their lives.
