I was born and raised in Hickory, NC. I now live in Winston Salem with my husband, Brandon and son, Isaac. I graduated from Elon University in 2003 with a degree in Sports Medicine. During the summer of 2003 while serving on a missions trip in South Africa, I felt the Lord calling me to nursing school. I completed the accelerated nursing program at Winston Salem State in 2005 and have been working in adult hematology/oncology ever since. I recently joined the Twin City Peds team and feel blessed to be a part of the staff. I find great delight in serving people whether adults or children so working at TCP has given me the opportunity to do both....I get to take care of the child while helping educate and comfort the parents.
