Tim Brady, MD
Personal Biography:
I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, I moved to Winston Salem to attend Wake Forest University, where I met my wife, Mary Scott. We got married shortly after college and moved to Washington, D.C., where I attended medical school at George Washington University. We were thrilled to move back to North Carolina for my pediatric residency training at Brenner Children's Hospital, during which we welcomed our first child, Wells. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports (soccer, basketball, golf, & snowboarding), spending time with my family and friends, and woodworking.
I decided to pursue a career in medicine during my time in college and always knew that I wanted to work in pediatrics. While I enjoy the science of medicine, what I love most is the opportunity to work with children and their families. In addition to preventative care, I have interests in allergies and related diseases (i.e. asthma, eczema), mental health, and the effects of digital media on infants and young children.
